Real estate, lifestyle, and home entertaining go hand in hand. Enjoy this irresistible Holiday “Crack” snack mix recipe — a sweet and salty crowd-pleaser perfect for open houses, gatherings, and cozy nights at home.
The Story Behind This Must-Try Holiday Treat
One of my oldest girlfriends from California used to bring a huge batch of this snack mix on our annual girls’ trips. We jokingly called it “Crack” because it was so sweet, salty, crunchy, and addictive that no one could stop eating it. Someone was always fighting for the last handful.
When I moved away, I missed this treat almost as much as I missed the girls. But during their 2024 visit to my lake house in Michigan, Marie surprised me by protecting a bag of it on the 4-hour flight — keeping it safe from everyone until she could hand it to me. That’s how good it is!
After over a decade of begging her for the recipe, Marie finally shared it. And now I’m excited to share it with my friends, clients, and colleagues — because great recipes, like great homes, are meant to be enjoyed and passed along.
